About

We’re just a group of students from different schools bonded together by a common thought and since lessons seem to be too stale and flooded with stupid questions. So much so that man himself could have evolved from four legged to a mono-legged creature, and so due to the same train of thoughts, we started this blog; hoping that we would, somehow change the way of life for people who are experiencing the same torture as us.

We’ll like to bring to our readers something controversial and perhaps, amusing. Though, the amusement level might not suffice in competing with our classmate’s omnipotent and yet intelligent questions in class. We will also cling onto the tiny strand of hope that what is written here will enlighten you, minus the Bodhi Tree.

Inspirations just keeps popping out of our heads; so much that if counted, compiled and processed, we can write out the same number of books as the Encyclopaedia Britannica. Our inspirations vary from a large variety of events that we, poor slaves of the cohort are going through.

Salablah is much inspired by our inspiring classmates, really.

Inspirations aside, we tend to have so much free time where we could even start this. The credit really has to go to all our free periods and transitions time. Mind you, this isn’t childishness, this is just boredom. This is where boredom gets very dangerous and where you tend to get very, very afraid.

Neglecting everything from Kinematics to Biological structures, we would, in this blog express Mol’s worth of our ideas from deep within our hearts. Hopefully, this doesn’t bring out our “Noble Savage” as well as the somewhat geometrically shaped thoughts. Let’s keep our fingers crossed so that history doesn’t repeat itself and no more long marches, please.

“The boredom we have experienced cannot be compared to yours, without the correct state of mind, even the toughest, innermost layers of the human mind would crumble before the infinite limits of absolute boredom.”

Our blog name “Salablah”, being pronounced as “Suh-luh-bluh” actually comes from two words;

Sala:

1.      A large or important room or hall

2.      A shoot descendant of Arphaxed (Luke 3:35, 36)

Blah: n.

1.      Worthless nonsense; drivel.

2.      blahs A general feeling of discomfort, dissatisfaction, or depression: “Monday morning Oscar woke up with the blahs” (New Yorker).

We hope that Salablah would be a place with utmost importance for all your worthless nonsense as well as bringing out your dissatisfaction, your lust for more. This arduous ideal we have might just be blah.

Enjoy!
